Qatar Strongly Condemns Attack on Peacekeeping Forces in Somalia

 

 

Doha, May 29 (QNA) - The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted the Ugandan peacekeepers participating in the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), which resulted in deaths.

    In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

    The ministry expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Uganda. (QNA)
