Qatar Strongly Condemns the Attacks of Israeli Settlers on Palestinian Villages

Doha, June 22 (QNA) - The State of Qatar condemns, in the strongest terms, the brutal attacks of Israeli settlers on a number of villages in the occupied Palestinian territories, which led to the deaths and injuries of defenseless Palestinian civilians, especially women and children.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, their property and service facilities will increase violence, affect the peace process on the basis of international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, and undermine the international efforts made for a two-state solution.
The ministry stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to compel Israel to stop its horrific crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories, and to bring the perpetrators to international justice.
The Ministry renewed Qatar's firm position on the righteousness of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
