Qatar Team End Participation in Volleyball World Tour Gstaad

Bern, July 08 (QNA) - Qatar's beach volleyball duo Cherif Younes and Ahmed Tijan ended their participation in the quarter-finals of the Gstaad round of the World Beach Volleyball Tour after they lost 1-2 to Norwegian duo Mol/Sorum today.
The two teams played strong match, especially in the first half when the Qatari team managed to win its points by 33-31, but later they lost by 17-21, 13-15 to bid farewell to the championship that began on July 5 and will conclude tomorrow.
The Qatari duo reached the quarter-finals after they defeated the Chilean duo in the Gstaad round. They also beat Chile's Marco Grimalt and Esteban Grimalt 21-15 / 21-13 in the first match of Group B. (QNA)
