Qatar Welcomes the Unloading of Oil from the Safer Reservoir in the Red Sea

Doha, August 12, 2023, SPA -- The State of Qatar welcomed the complete unloading of crude oil from Safer reservoir, off Yemen's Red Sea coast.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today, expressing Qatar's appreciation of the efforts of the UN and other international partners in addressing one of the most pressing environmental issues, thus preventing oil spillage from the reservoir in the Red Sea waters.
Qatar also stressed full readiness to support all international efforts aimed at building a safer and more sustainable future for everybody in the world.
