For its part, Al-Watan newspaper praised Qatar's continuous efforts to achieve stability in the region, stemming from the fact that there is no development, prosperity or peace without countries cooperating. Therefore, Qatar has made a lot of efforts to achieve this goal. The positive developments seen today are mainly due to these constructive efforts aimed at making the region an oasis of security and peace.
In this context, the newspaper noted that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Tuesday morning at his office in the Amiri Diwan with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hossien Amir Abdollahian and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country. In its editorial, Al-Raya said that the Israeli entity continues to practice terrorist and war crimes against the Palestinian people without any deterrent or accountability.
The paper pointed out that the occupation has given itself the right, wherever and whenever it wants, to commit massacres and attacks against Palestinians in their homes, farms, and places of worship. Just two days ago, Israeli forces stormed Jenin refugee camp with their armored vehicles, resulting in five martyrs and several injuries, it added.
The newspaper condemned the ongoing and systematic daily attacks against the Palestinian people. It considered these acts a flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions, noting that the State of Qatar has often warned the international community about the dangers of turning a blind eye to Israeli crimes, as well as the deliberate Israeli disregard for legal actions against its crimes.
Al-Raya highlighted the statement delivered by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the UN Office in Geneva, in which she expressed Qatar's condemnation of Israeli occupation authorities' persistent non-cooperation with the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory to enable the commission to perform its mandate.
The newspaper also noted that Qatar reiterated before the UN Human Rights Council its strong condemnation of the systematic violations perpetrated by the Israeli forces and Israeli settlers against Palestinian activists, human rights defenders and journalists through immoral and illegal acts such as prolonged administrative detention and intimidation during interrogation and torture and criminalizing the Palestinian civil society's organizations and their members by branding them as "terrorists", ramping pressures on donors to cut off funding and support sources, which pose flagrant violations against international human rights law and international humanitarian law and are considered crimes under international law.
In conclusion, Al-Raya said that the State of Qatar emphasizes that Israeli terrorist acts are committed within a systematic plan that seeks to silence the Palestinian voices that document the Israeli occupation crimes which are inseparable from the occupation's aggressive, settlement and racial policies, calling for urgent international action to stop these attacks and hold all Israeli officials responsible for the violations being perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
In local affairs, English-language newspaper The Peninsula said that the recent launch of a new single-window facility with services that will simplify the company registration procedures is commendable as it is one more step in the right direction to becoming a business-and entrepreneurship-friendly country.
Under the headline "Where entrepreneurship thrives", the paper said that the new set of services launched recently will allow investors to directly benefit from digitised services and enable them to complete transactions without the need to visit the websites or headquarters of relevant ministries, adding that the new services reduce the requirements and automate the internal procedures and  reviews by governmental entities.
The single-window service brings together various stakeholders under one platform and helps streamline the entire process thus eliminating waiting time and unnecessary visits to various offices, it noted.
The newspaper pointed out that for any business to succeed and grow it requires well qualified and professional workforce. To augment this requirement, platforms like Jusour will be of great help, as it will connect the employer with the job seeker.
The Peninsula concluded that Jusour is set up to develop the labour market in Qatar by attracting an active and committed workforce that will contribute to economic development efforts in priority  sectors. (QNA)
