Al-Sharq newspaper affirmed that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's meeting with HE President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow reflects the distinct and good relations between the two countries and their people, and the common desire to strengthen and develop these relations.
The paper stated that the relations between the two countries continued to evolve through mutual visits between the two countries' officials at various levels. The growing development of relations began to take an upward trend following the visit of former President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow to the State of Qatar in 2010. In 2016, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited Turkmenistan, followed by an official visit by HE the former President of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar in 2017. It noted that the visit of HE President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow to the State of Qatar in December 2022, was in response to the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to attend a part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which confirmed the deep level of relations.
Al-Sharq concluded its editorial by pointing out that the existence of 17 agreements concluded between the two sides in various fields, along with more agreements and MoU to be signed today, reflects the political will shared by the leadership in both countries and the mutual interest in raising the level of partnership and coordination between the two countries.

According to the newspaper, 'Blockchain' is a modern technology, defined as a digital record book of repeated and distributed transactions. This technology brings together transactions in an inseparable chain where each additional block promotes verification of the mass before it and thus enhances the entire blockchain unit.
Additionally, the National Blockchain Blueprint, issued by the Communications Regulatory Authority, would contribute to the knowledge-based economy industry, such as research, development and ICTs.
Al-Watan said in its conclusion that innovation is becoming more important as an engine of growth and will enhance Qatar's diversification efforts and ultimately contribute in achieving its goal of creating a strong economy and enhancing productivity, in order to achieve long-term enterprise development, by possessing knowledge that plays a key role in increasing production, quality and competition.
