Regarding the activities of Eid Al-Fitr, Al-Raya's editorial pointed to the great turnout for the various Eid activities in the State of Qatar, especially from the guests of Qatar who are citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which confirms that Qatar has become a safe and preferred tourist destination, not only at the regional level but also at the global level, especially after the impressive and inspiring experience for the fans of the World Cup in the State of Qatar, the oasis of safety, security, genuine generosity and good hospitality.
The newspaper stressed that the large public turnout for Eid Al-Fitr activities, whether in Katara, Souq Waqif, the Old Port and many tourist sites in the country, is a 100% success testimony for those responsible for these various activities, which take into account all ages.

It noted that the hotel sector is enjoying a great recovery thanks to the tourism initiatives after the launch of the Hayya platform in its new look, which allows 4 types of visas for visitors, as tourism sector experts and observers expected an increase in hotel occupancy rates by 70 to 80 percent during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday, especially with the intention of Qatar Tourism to implement a rich calendar of entertainment activities as well as special promotions and special offers by the country's hotels and tourism facilities.

On the regional situation and the crisis in Sudan, Al-Sharq noted the acceleration of the evacuations of foreign nationals and diplomats from Sudan by countries of the world, led by the United States, France and Britain along with Arab, African and Asian countries.
In its editorial today, the newspaper stated that this acceleration indicates that the ongoing war in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and several other cities may prolong its duration and expand its circle, with the continuation of the ongoing battles between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces for more than a week, especially as western officials, observers and experts are concerned about the lack of change in the security situation in Sudan in the short term.
Al-Sharq said Sudan has begun to enter a dark tunnel after the army led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo insisted on continuing the war that has so far killed more than 420 people, injured 3,700, and forced tens of thousands to flee from the areas of clashes towards other states, or towards Chad and Egypt, while the sounds of gunfire, the sound of explosions, and the flight of warplanes overwhelm the repeated calls and appeals for calm and restraint.
With the continuation of the evacuations of diplomatic missions and foreigners from Khartoum, it pointed out, fears began to grow not only about the fate of the brotherly Sudanese people and the unity of Sudan but also about the repercussions of this war on security, peace and stability at the regional and international levels, with the expected great security risks as a result of the collapse of the authority in Sudan and the spread of chaos that threatens the region and the world.
Al-Sharq concluded by saying that the mass exit of foreign diplomats from Sudan places the responsibility on the shoulders of the Sudanese parties, who can - in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries and concerned regional and international organizations - return to the path of dialogue and negotiations to spare their country and people the scourge of wars and their repercussions and prevent Sudan from slipping towards the fate of many other countries, especially since the repercussions of the war on a number of countries in the region are still exist.
The situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories was the focus of Al-Watan's editorial which indicated that the Israeli occupation forces continued yesterday to close all entrances to Jericho for the second day in a row, in continuation of the approach of stifling the Palestinians and preventing them from freedom of movement amid strict measures, while the southern entrance to the city witnessed yesterday morning clashes during which the Israeli army fired tear gas canisters at the demonstrators and vehicles, causing a number of suffocation cases.
Al-Watan drew attention to what the Palestinian territories witnessed earlier on Saturday when members of the Israeli police stormed the Bab Al-Rahma chapel, east of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and destroyed the lighting and electricity installations in it, as well as what happened a few days earlier when a Palestinian child was wounded by Israeli army bullets, adding dozens of young men suffocated in two separate incidents in Jenin and Hebron governorates, while the Israeli occupation forces arrested seven young Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The newspaper noted that the Israeli brutal practices continue and expand daily. In light of the dramatic developments in the Arab world, the opportunity seems appropriate for the occupation forces to continue their aggressive plans and to proceed with the policy of restricting the Palestinians, so it is not surprising at all that the Arab developments, including what is happening in Sudan, are made by hidden hands whose aim is to destroy the pivotal Arab countries and turn them into states, given that this would enable the Israelis to monopolize the occupied lands and prevent any solution that would allow the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Concluding, Al-Watan said that what is happening in Sudan will have repercussions for the entire region, stressing the need for wisdom and prudence to prevail in the interest of Sudan and all Arabs. (QNA)
