Qatar's Ministry Of Social Development And Family Signs MoU With NHRC

Doha, February 21 (QNA) - The Ministry of Social Development and Family signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) to develop and deepen cooperation between them as well as benefit from the common capabilities of both sides. HE Minister of Social Development and Family Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad signed the MoU on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development and Family, while HE Chairperson of the NHRC Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah signed on behalf of the NHRC. The signing took place during the opening session of the International Conference on Climate Change and Human Rights. The MoU covers cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of lessons learned, enriching awareness activities, and addressing international and local opinions on issues related to the social sector. It also includes the exchange of views and consultations on the development of relevant legislation and regulations related to the specializations of the two parties. (QNA)
