Qatar's Mubarak Shannan Wins Title of Tamdeen Pro League for Tennis in Kuwait

Kuwait, July 23 (QNA) - Qatari player Mubarak Shannan won the title of Tamdeen Pro League for tennis that was held on the hard courts of the Rafael Nadal Academy in Kuwait over five days.
In the final match, the Qatari player defeated his Emirati counterpart Omar Al Awadhi, with a score of 2-1.
Mubarak Shannan was exempted from competing in the first round of the championship and started his participation in the second round, defeating his Kuwaiti opponent Abdul Rahman Abdullah, with a score of 2-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals.
In the quarter-finals, Shannan continued his brilliance and defeated Kuwait's Hussein Al Shatti with 2-0 to qualify for the semi-finals.
In a statement, Khalid Al Khulaifi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation and head of the national teams committee, praised the achievement of team player Mubarak Shannan in this tournament in which a group of professional tennis players took part, wishing him to win more titles and to continue to honor Qatari tennis.
Al Khulaifi affirmed the federation's keenness and commitment to supporting Qatari players as they are the cornerstone in the development and advancement of the tennis game.
For his part, Mubarak Shannan expressed his happiness at achieving the title of Tamdeen Pro League, adding that this achievement will be a great incentive for him in the coming events. (QNA)
