Riyadh Air Concludes its Visit to China

Riyadh, October 02, 2023, SPA -- A delegation from Riyadh Air, led by its CEO Tony Douglas, visited the People's Republic of China to meet with prominent figures in the Chinese aviation sector in preparation for the launch of its inaugural flight in mid-2025.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Saudi Ambassador to China, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, to discuss the visit program and the outcomes of their meetings with the Chinese counterparts.
Riyadh Air also conducted meetings with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), local authorities, several airports, and airlines as part of its plan for future activities in China.
Douglas stated that during the visit, they conducted numerous meetings with relevant parties and shared their future plans, including the operational roadmap for the Saudi-Chinese partnership. He emphasized China's significant role in expanding Riyadh Air's operations, as many airlines in China and around the world are preparing to participate in their ambitious plan to reach over 100 destinations globally by 2030.
