Baghdad / NINA / - Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that relations between Moscow and Baghdad are developing steadily.

He said in a speech during a ceremony for receiving the credentials of a number of new foreign ambassadors at the Kremlin Palace today that "there are many joint projects in a number of sectors in Iraq."

He stressed, "Russia's support for Iraq's territorial integrity and non-interference in its internal affairs."

Putin also touched on cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and pointed out that trade exchange between Russia and Iraq has shown steady growth over the past two years.
