Saudi Ambassador to Iran Arrives in Tehran to Assume Duties
Tehran, September 05, 2023, SPA -- The Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, today to assume his official duties.
Upon his arrival in Tehran, Ambassador Al-Anzi emphasized the directives of the wise leadership regarding the need to "enhance relations and intensify communication and meetings between the Kingdom and Iran." The leadership has also directed "expanding Saudi-Iranian relations towards broader horizons," Al-Anzi added.
"Both the Kingdom and Iran are neighboring countries with abundant economic resources, natural resources and advantages that contribute to enhancing development, prosperity, stability, and security in the region," the ambassador said. This enhancement of relations would benefit both nations and their peoples, Al-Anzi added.
He affirmed that Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, represents a roadmap that encompasses all aspects upon which both countries can build their cooperation.
Al-Anzi stressed that the two countries would foster cooperation within a strategic perspective that establishes the principles of good neighborliness, understanding, constructive and purposeful dialogue, and mutual respect. This approach would also enhance mutual trust between the two countries.
