Saudi Arabia Chairs Meeting of UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management for Arab States

New York, August 03, 2023, SPA -- The United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management for Arab States held a meeting in New York today, chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, on the sidelines of the 13th meeting of the UN-GGIM Committee.
During the meeting, the level of business progress in the recommendations of the last committee meeting, which was held in February 2023 in Abu Dhabi, was discussed, and the committee's initiatives were reviewed.
Additionally, the attendees agreed to hold the next meeting in Doha in February 2024.
