Saudi Arabia, UN-Habitat Sign Headquarters Agreement

Riyadh, October 12, 2023, SPA -- Deputizing for Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi has signed in Riyadh a headquarters agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the office of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat).
The agreement was signed by UN-Habitat Chief of Staff Erfan Ali.
Al-Rassi welcomed the agreement, stressing the importance of strengthening the process of joint work, based on the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to host international organizations and contribute to achieving goals related to sustainable development.
UN-Habitat works to promote socially and environmentally sustainable countries and cities, and is the coordinating body for all issues of urbanization and human settlements within the United Nations system.
