Saudi Courts Hold 80,000 Judicial Sessions Remotely in Seven Days

Riyadh, August 06, 2023, SPA -- The Justice Ministry's courts held 80,000 judicial sessions remotely during the past seven days through the "e-litigation" service on the Najiz platform. The e-litigation service includes all litigation procedures stipulated in the regulations that can be applied electronically, including exchanging notes, submitting documents, holding a pleading session remotely via visual communication, issuing verdicts, receiving a copy of the judgment, and objecting to the ruling before the higher court.
The "e-litigation" service maintains all judicial guarantees according to a governance that ensures the fulfilment of those guarantees in a manner consistent with the nature of this path, which enables the judicial department to hold a video-visual session attended by the concerned parties through means of communication approved by the ministry.
Judicial sessions can be attended through the Najiz platform after quick verification through vital features, such as a face print or a hand print, in a way that saves time and effort for the beneficiary and contributes to avoiding late attendance and cancellation of sessions, due to the inability to log in.
