Expanded sitting on healthcare issues

The main task is to annihilate the problems of healthcare. The city mayor has criticized medical establishments saying they don’t answer sanitary norms, guarantee medical aid is rendered for payment, and commercialization of establishments and corruption.
The mayor of city said the doctors prescribed medicines to the absent patients and the chief doctor is responsible for the work of hospitals but not healthcare department.
The problem of children’s death rate was one more theme of the sitting. 22 such cases were revealed in city clinical hospital ℠1. Akhmetzhan Yesimov has asked the head of healthcare department to report about taken measures.
Zauresh Amanzholova, head of healthcare department of Almaty:- Of course, we discharged the deputy of chief doctor on obstetrics and childhood, the chief nurse of obstetrics and we have formed the plans of measures to avoid such cases in future. The material was passed to the Almaty administration and Ministry of Healthcare.
Currently 20% of city budget is sent to the healthcare. This year 30 billion tenge was allocated for medicine, it is 1,5 times more than last year. But Akhmetzhan Yesimov has noted the number of complaints from people doesn’t reduce.

Unfortunately, most of complaints are received from Almaty residents, last year’s raise was doubling raise, this year – 1,2 times. Most complaints concern low-quality medical aid.
