INT'L CONFERENCE HELD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 5th international scientific and theory-practice conference themed “Selenge river without border” was held on July 26-27 in Mongolia. Held in frames of the Mongolia-Russia intergovernmental agreement on protection and usage of transboundary water, the conference was participated by a delegation led by V.S.Molotov, head of the Water Resource Department for Lake Baikal, and a working group headed by Ts.Badrakh, head of the Water Authority of Mongolia. The attendees delivered some 20 reports on the Mongolia-Russia relations by water, examination over water borders and their protection. B.Khuder
