Ajman Ruler asserts UAE's keenness to give its citizens the best healthcare in the world

Ajman, Dec 5, 2011 (WAM) - Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi has asserted the keenness of the country in protecting the health of its citizens. The UAE's leadership gives all attention to providing the best healthcare services, by setting up hospitals of global standard and making the best treatment and medicines available, he stressed. The Ruler was speaking after attending the conference on "Stem cells between theory and practice", which was organised for the first time in the region by Ajman University for Science and Technology. The Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital in Ajman is considered one of the best medical facilities in the region. This is in addition to the establishment of a number of colleges and universities in the field of medicine with the best faculties in the world, the Ruler added. Ajman hosted one of the major scientific conferences in the field of medicine and medical research and will spare no effort to host similar events of international importance, Sheikh Humaid said. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
