Sheikha Hind Witnesses QF's Showtime! 2023 Opening Ceremony 

Doha, March 02 (QNA) - HE Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF) Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani witnessed on Thursday the opening ceremony of Showtime! 2023, presented by a group of Qatar Foundation schools' students and staff. Organized under the theme "Musicals at the Movies", this edition featured live performances of famous movies including 'Aladdin', 'Grease', and 'The Sound of Music' and 'Anastasia' by a group of pre-university schools in Qatar Foundation. Qatari composer and artist Dana Al Fardan presented a song entitled " Now or Never", in both Arabic and English. Manager of Student Enrichment at Qatar Foundation Fatima Al Mahdi said that Showtime 2023 constituted a unique experience for all its participants, including students and staff. This year, a group of musicals from films were presented in a different style after adding the Arabic character, she said. (QNA)
