Athletes from 79 countries applied to participate in Third World Nomad Games

Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2018 / Kabar /. The State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports received applications to participate in sports events in the framework of the Third World Nomad Games from 2307 people from 79 countries, including from Argentina, Spain, Italy, Chile and Cote d'Ivoire. The accreditation of sports delegations on the official website of the Games ended on Aug. 25, 2018. The final list of participants and countries for the Games will be known after passing the credentials committee. A detailed list of participants will be available on the official website of the Games at: www.worldnomadgames.com In Apr. 2018, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports sent official invitations to participate in the Third World Nomad Games to 102 countries. Athletes from all over the world are allowed to participate. Competitions will be held among men in 37 kinds of sports, and among women in 16 types. The maximum number of each sports delegation will be 223 people, including athletes, coaches, veterinarians, grooms and official representatives. Age of participants (excluding intellectual sports and horse races) is over 18 years old. Sport delegations will take part in the parade of countries at the opening of the Third World Nomad Games on Sept. 2, where the countries should come out in a unified national form. Within the framework of Games, participating countries can conduct demonstrative shows of their national sports and folk games in coordination with the Organizing Committee of the Games. In addition, the innovation on Third World Nomad Games will be "The Great Struggle of the Nomads" and "The Book of the Winners of the World Nomad Games". In the contests for the Great Struggle of the Nomads an absolute winner will be set without determining the second, third places on the principle: "The great winner is one, the rest are equal!". Competitions will take place in ethnocultural form in the form of theatrical performances with musical and creative accompaniment of ethnographic groups of member countries. Following the results of the contests the winners will be included in the "Book of Great Winners of the World Nomad Games": The Book is a chronicle of the World Nomad Games. The notes will be made in Kyrgyz and English.
