Bahrain’s basketball championship hailed

Manama, Feb.10 (BNA): Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa congratulated Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa on the superb achievement of the Bahrain National Basketball Junior team, which won the U17 GCC championship held in Muscat. He commended the U17 team players for their performance which earned them the trophy, hailing the administrative and technical staff’s efforts which enabled the national junior squad to qualify to the U18 Asian championship, which will be held in Bangkok in August.
