Bahrain ‘Fun Run’ hailed

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Shaikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, president of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), gave a thumb up for the excellent organization of the Official Fund Run during the Bahrain Sports Day 2018 held recently. The Fun Run was to promote the 18th Jakarta – Palembang Asian Games 2018, to be organised in Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September. In an official letter to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, Shaikh Ahmad said he was glad to see children of different age, Paralympic athletes and people from other walks of life joining the Bahrain Fun Run event. Shaikh Ahmad took this opportunity to thank Shaikh Nasser and the Bahrain Olympic Committee for their efforts and excellent organization to make this event a great success, and wished them progress.
