Central Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championships: Iran sweep podium

Tehran, IRNA – Iran secured a podium sweep at Central Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championships underway in Tajikistan on Monday as Iranian badminton players bagged all the available medals in the tournament. Iranian athletes snatched all the four gold medals in Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles in both U-15 and U-17 categories. Two Iranian badminton players were also present at all the four final games of Men’s Doubles and Women’s doubles in both U-15 and U-17 categories so that they swept all the four gold medals and all the silver medals of doubles. Tajikistan, Mongolia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan were present at the competitions which was the first edition of Central Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championships.
