CHESS PLAYERS WIN MEDALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian young chess players grabbed medals in the 13th edition of the Asean Age-Group Chess Championships held on June 10-19 in Hue City, Vietnam. An international master and School World champion A.Enkhtuul won a gold medal in the girls' rapid contest, having four wins, two draws and one lose. Another girl T.Monkhzul also grabbed a gold medal in the U10 girls' blitz contest with eight points. Boy chess players E.Baasansuren (6.5 points) won a bronze medal; and B.Yanjinlham (6.5 points)--silver medal. As the team results, the Mongolian team took 5th place. B.Khuder
