Embassy to Russia celebrates Bahrain Sports Day

Moscow, Feb. 13 (BNA): In accordance with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation held a sports event with the participation of the Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Sa'ati, diplomats and local embassy staff. The events included walking from the embassy to the Red Square near the Kremlin Presidential Office, while carrying the flag of Bahrain. This was done with the aim to encourage everyone to exercise and highlight its importance in the life of the individual and to make it a daily routine. The Ambassador praised the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister to celebrate sports day and its role in promoting awareness of the importance of sport and activities in human life, which reflects the Kingdom's interest in the health and well-being of all citizens and residents.
