Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian men and women judoists will compete in the Judo Team World Championships to take place on October 25-27 in Salvador-de-Bahia, Brazil.
The judoists have been selected by the International Judo Federation. The men's team includes D.Tomorkhuleg (66 kg), G.Odbayar (73 kg), G.Tuvshinjargal (81 kg), B.Janchivdorj (-90 kg) and B.Temuulen (+90 kg); in the women's team are M.Bundmaa, B.Bat-Erdene (52 kg), D.Sumya (57 kg), Ts.Monkhzaya (63 kg), Ts.Naranjargal (-70 kg) and P.Lhamdegd (+78 kg). They have started an intensive training.
The national women's team won a bronze medal in the 2007 Judo Team World Championship in Beijing, China.

At its meeting on Wednesday, authorities of Mongolia's Judo Federation (MJF) discussed reports on activities in the Olympic cycle between 2008 and 2012 and results of the competitions at the London Olympics.
In addition, current Minister of Industry and Agriculture Kh.Battulga MP was re-elected the president of the MJF. Six people-- G.Batjargal, J.Chuluunbaatar, N.Battulga, G.Batjargal, Khayankhyarvaa and Ariun-Erdene--were selected the MJF vice-presidents.
The meeting also approved quota of the men's and women's national teams, so each team will have 28 judoists and seven coaches. A decision has been made to set up youths' and junior national selected teams as well.
