"These same players will be the backbone of the squad in the tournament," he told reporters here Wednesday after the launching of the tournament's logo that was officiated by Melaka Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam. Ten countries will be competing in the tournament to be held from May 3 to May 13, namely Singapore, Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, and South Korea besides hosts Malaysia. -- BERNAMA
