MONGOL RALLY 2017 APPROACHING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 25-28, ‘Mongol Rally 2017’ three-day auto racing will take place covering a distance of about 15 thousand km in territories of four provinces of Mongolia The competition will be organized in six categories of automobiles, including UAZ, Jeep, UTV, ATV and motorcycle. An opening ceremony of the event will be held on May 25 and the participants will drive from the starting point near the Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport in Ulaanbaatar on May 26 and are expected to finish the race around May 28 afternoon. ‘Thanks to the establishment of rallying in Mongolia, our athletes have been gaining success internationally. The Mongol Rally has been organized in Mongolia every year since 1995 in cooperation with SSER company of Japan. As for recent accomplishments of Mongolian athletes, International Master of Sports D.Boldbaatar and N.Lkhamaa successfully finished the Dakar Rally twice" said Mr.Ochirsukh, General Secretary of Mongolian Auto Motorcycle Sport Federation.
