MONGOLIAN ATHLETES BRING 4 MEDALS FROM RIFLE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The first Rifle World Championship “2017 IPSC Rifle World Shoot” was held in Moscow, Russia on June 4-11. From over 850 competitors from 45 nations, 4 Mongolian teams snatched bronze medals in 2 different divisions. Mongolian Practical Shooting association has prepared 5 teams with 12 male and 8 female athletes to participate in the tournament and 4 of them won medals in the Manual Action Open and Semi-Auto Standard divisions. On average, athletes shoot around 500-1000 bullets in less than 20 days for training. However, due to some economic difficulties, Mongolian athletes have trained 15 times less than average and still displayed good results. Mongolian bronze-medalist female team in Open-Manual category consisted of M.Uyanga, T.Khulan, G.Erdenechimeg and N.Odgerel. B.Tugsbilig
