MONGOLIAN ATHLETES BRING 4 MEDALS FROM RIFLE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The first Rifle World Championship “2017 IPSC Rifle World Shoot” was held in Moscow, Russia on June 4-11. From over 850 competitors from 45 nations, 4 Mongolian teams snatched bronze medals in 2 different divisions. Mongolian Practical Shooting association has prepared 5 teams with 12 male and 8 female athletes to participate in the tournament and 4 of them won medals in the Manual Action Open and Semi-Auto Standard divisions. On average, athletes shoot around 500-1000 bullets in less than 20 days for training. However, due to some economic difficulties, Mongolian athletes have trained 15 times less than average and still displayed good results.
