MONGOLIAN JUDO TEAMS GRAB SILVER MEDALS AT CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian national male and female judo teams have won silver medals at the Asian Judo Championships 2017, held in Hong Kong. Team championships have been carried out for the fifth year, and Mongolian women’s team always made the finals. This was the fifth silver medal for the women’s team, having been defeated by the Japanese team by 4:1. The Japanese and Mongolian women’s teams were followed by South Korean and Taiwanese teams, who earned bronze medals. For the Mongolian men’s team, it was their first silver medal. The team was defeated by the South Korean team in the final bouts with 3:2 scores. Bronze medals went to men’s teams of Japan and Iran. B.Amarsaikhan
