MONGOLIAN JUDOKAS WIN 6 MEDALS IN HAGUE GRAND PRIX 2017

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian Judokas N.Khadbaatar and Yo.Baskhuu grabbed gold medals in the Hague Grand Prix 2017 on November 17-19.
Mongolian team won a total of six medals including two gold medals and four bronze medals and two special prizes.
On the second day of the tournament, N.Khadbaatar became the winner in the men's -73kg Division C by beating his competitors from Spain, Iran and Germany. Afterwards, he defeated his matches Sam Van T’ Westenda of Netherlands and Victor Scvortov of the United Arab Emirates and became the Champion.
In the same weight category, International Sports Master Ts.Tsogtbaatar was defeated by Victor Scvortov. However, he managed to win a bronze medal, winning Canadian and Netherland wrestlers.
Judoka Yo. Baskhuu in the men’s -66kg won a gold medal as well.
Among others D.Amartuvshin in the men’s – 60kg, M.Urantsetseg in the women’s -52 kg won bronze medals.
Moreover, ISM Ts.Tserennadmid in the women’s 63kg category and E.Munkhjargalin in the men’s -90kg received the special 7th place.
231 judokas from 41 countries competed in the Hague Grand Prix 2017, of which wrestlers from 16 countries managed to win medals. As the team result, Mongolia was ranked 3rd place, following Netherlands and Russia.
