Shaikh Khalid praises Shaikh Nasser's MMA Championship sponsorship

Manama, May 20 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Honourary President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation, said that the sponsorship of His Highness' brother, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, to the World Championships of Amateur MMA that will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from November 12 to 19, is a blessed step to support the event which will be held in the Kingdom for the first time in history.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the sponsorship of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the championship is a matter of pride, and gratitude by the sports family in general and the family of mixed martial arts and self-defense sports in particular. He praised His Highness' efforts in serving Bahrain sport at all levels, and stressed that care comes within the framework of His Highness' keenness to turn all sports events hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain into a success.
His Highness pointed out that the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa will greatly affect the success of the championship, adding the importance of intensifying efforts in the coming period to ensure an ideal organization that reflects Bahrain's efficiency to embrace big events.
HH Shaikh Khalid Al Khalifa affirmed that the generous gesture of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his sponsorship to the championship will have a positive impact on the success of the tournament and showcase prestigious level of Bahrain to the guests of the Kingdom and the flourishing developed sports sector of under the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the first supporter of the sports sector in the Kingdom.
His Highness concluded in his speech that the generous sponsorship of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa's enhances the chances of the event's success, which reflects the distinctive ability of Bahrain to organize various sporting events.
The championship is part of HH Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa sports initiatives. The Kingdom hosted a public press conference to announce the Kingdom's hosting of the fourth edition of the World Championship of Amateur MMA in February, in the presence of Kerrith Brown, President of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and Mr. Densign White, IMMAF CEO.
