Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A judge Ts.Sereeter has been qualified to work as a referee in the wrestling event of the London 2012 Olympic Games. A decision to qualify him has been made by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA). Alongside him, 56 people from various countries have been qualified to judge in the Olympic events of both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. The secretary of the Mongolia's Freestyle Wrestling Federation Ts.Sereeter gained the state referee in 1990. He became the 3rd class referee in 2001, the 2nd class referee in 2003, and the 1st class referee in 2006, and then achieved the Olympic class referee in 2011. ** ** ** The national women's team for freestyle wrestling will leave for Japan on May 19 to compete in the World Cup Women's Team competition to run on May 26-27 in Tokyo. Apart of the Mongolia's team, the national teams of Japan, Canada, Russia, Azerbaijan, China, USA and Ukraine will take part in the competition. The women's team of Mongolia has comprised E.Narangerel (48 kg), D.Otgontsetseg (51 kg), S.Byambatseren (55 kg), T.Monkhtuya (59 kg), S.Battsetseg (63 kg), O.Nasanburmaa (67 kg) and B.Odonchimeg (72 kg). They will be coached by A.Tsedensodnom, a senior coach of the national selected team; Z.Duvchin and T.Sukhbaatar, coaches of the national selected team. The group of official people has included O.Bayanmonkh, the vice president of the Mongolia's Freestyle Wrestling Federation (MFSWF); B.Erdenebaatar, the MFSWF's secretary; and Ch.Nasanbat, a head of the Sports Medical Service Department of the State Department for Physical Culture and Sports. ** ** ** Mongolia will compete in events of the 3rd Asian Beach Games for beach handball, beach basketball, beach volleyball and beach woodball. The 2012 Asian Beach Games will take place on June 16-22 in Haiyang city, China. Over 3,000 athletes of 45 countries are expected to take part in the Asian Beach Games. They will compete in sports of 3-on-3 basketball, beach handball, beach kabaddi, beach sepaktakraw, beach soccer, beach volleyball, dragon boat, powered paragliding, roller skating, sailing, sport climbing and woodball.
