Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian student archers competed in the 9th World University Archery Championship which took place on July 4-7 in Cordoba, Spain. It has attracted some 150 archers from 26 countries. The Mongolian team took the 4th place in the mixed doubles event, alongside the teams of France and Chinese Taipei. A gold medal of this event went to the team of the Republic of Korea. The team has been headed by B.Tsetsegee, a secretary of Mongolia's Archery Federation, and coached by international master of sports J.Narantuya and a sports master T.Tsogtbayar. The women's team comprised B.Azzaya, A.Enkhtuya, G.Odmaa, in the men's team included are B.Monkhtogtokh, J.Monkhtulga and B.Narmandakh. The 10th World University Archery Championship will run in 2014 in Leuven city, Belgium, the next championship will take place in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. ** ** ** Mongolian children grabbed four bronze medals in the Junior Asian Championship for Freestyle Wrestling which took place on July 5-8 in Bishkek city, Kyrgyzstan. These medals have been won by a boy and three girls. The next championship will run in Mongolia. Meanwhile, Mongolian junior wrestlers have won two gold, one silver and four bronze medals in the 5th Children of Asia Sports Games which is running in Yakutia, Russia. B.Khuder
