Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A wrestler Sh.Bayanmonkh has grabbed silver and bronze medals in the Freestyle Wrestling Senior World Championship held in Szombathely city, Hungary. Mongolia has been represented by three senior wrestlers. The international master of sports Sh.Bayanmonkh won the silver medal at the 130 kg weight category of 41-45 ages defeating opponents from France and Kazakhstan. In the +90 weight category contest, he won the bronze after beating rivals from Iran and Russia. ** ** ** Mongolia's Freestyle Wrestling Federation has selected wrestlers to compete in the 5th Grand Prix tournament named after D.P.Korkin to run on October 6-7 in Yakutsk, Russia. The team is to cosist of J.Bayarkhuu, B.Nomin (men's 55 kg), B.Nemekhbayar (60 kg), P.Onorbat (74 kg), M.Mendsaikhan (84 kg), Ts.Chinzorig (96 kg) and N.Zolboo (120 kg). A gold medal winner will receive a cash prize of USD 3,000, the runner-up--USD 2,000 and the bronze medalist--USD 1,000. ** ** ** The Mongolians successfully competed in the Mental Calculation World Cup 2012 which took place from September 29 to October 1 in Giessen, Germany. A master of the mind sports T.Myagmarsuren won a gold medal, a director of Mongolia's Academy of Mind Kh.Khatanbaatar took 6th place. They have competed in various categories.
