Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian para athlete S.Bayarnaran has been qualified to compete in the London Paralympics by winning a silver medal in international tournament which ran on March 9-14 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Mongolia has been represented at the tournament by four athletes coached by G.Lhagvasuren. With a success of throwing discuss to 38.19 meters, S.Bayarnaran got the right to participate in the Paralympics, and also won a bronze medal at the shot put contest. ** ** ** On Wednesday, the president of Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) D.Zagdsuren granted uniforms to Mongolians who will take part in the Youth World Fencing Championship to run next month in Moscow, Russia, and in the Asian Fencing Championship in Wakayama city, Japan. During the both competitions, the Mongolian athletes will have a joint training. Next week, an expert from Hong Kong will give lessons to Mongolian coaches for fencing. B.Khuder
