Young basketball players leave for Poland

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Boys’ team for basketball from the city’s 33rd secondary school and girls’ team from the 87th secondary school Thursday left for Poland to participate in friendly matches. The basketball teams will have the friendly matches with junior selected teams of Poland’s Plotzk city. They are headed by T.Bayasakh, a deputy governor of Bayanzurkh district; B.Dashdorj, head of the Mongolia’s Federation of Physical Culture and Sports; and authorities of the schools. The two teams were qualified to compete in the friendly matches from the junior league championships of Ulaanbaatar city which was held from February to April of this year.
