Defense minister says Iran’s electronics industry is at global scale

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics said on Saturday that the country defense industry, especially in electronics, is at the global scale. Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said while inspecting the defense ministry affiliated Iran Electronics Industries company (IEI) that Iran’s Defense Ministry has been successful in fulfilling considerable achievements in ground, maritime, aerial, aerospace, and electronic fields, noting that the ministry is aimed at leveraging its experiences to elevate other sectors in the country. He said that the defense industry is on the technology edge and can help the country in different areas to progress.
