Dubai Municipality prepares detailed programme to construct buildings with 3D printing

DUBAI, 14th July, 2016 (WAM) – The Dubai Municipality has developed detailed programmes for the implementation of three-dimensional buildings and a number of regulatory frameworks, including technique, legislations and codes. Engineer Essa Al Maidoor, Deputy Director-General of Dubai Municipality and Chairman of Application System of the Construction of Three-Dimensional Printing Technology, said the 3D technology will reduce execution durations and wastage in the use of building materials.
