MPIA And APVIA To Host Asian Solar PV Conference At IGEM

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA) and the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) will jointly host the region's premier solar photovoltaic (PV) conference in conjunction with the Seventh International Greentech and Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM) on Oct 5 and 6, 2016. Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili said the conference proves that IGEM has been a strategic platform in driving the growth of the solar PV industry over the last six years. "With MPIA and APVIA organising the first solar conference at IGEM, I am confident that the industry will gain immense benefits from the insights and experience of the international speakers," he said in a statement Sunday. Themed "Bridging Key Performers", the conference is expected to gather 350 delegates from across the globe, including industry players from Germany, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, India, Australia and ASEAN countries to discuss key areas pertinent to the growth of the solar PV industry in the region. -- BERNAMA
