'The Rise Of Digital India' Exhibition In Malaysia's Penang And Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- An exhibition depicting India's progress in the fields of Science and Technology will be held on Malaysia's northern state of Penang and Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with Festival of India 2015 in Malaysia. The High Commission of India in Kuala Lumpur in a statement said the exhibition, themed "The Rise of Digital India' would comprise of holographic presentations, panels and graphic panels accompanied with multimedia presentations, video clips and scaled models of satellites. "It covers a range of areas including information technology, entrepreneurship, banking, disaster management, agriculture, governance and space," the statement said. It also stated that the exhibition has been specially curated for Malaysia by the National Council of Science Museum, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture Government of India. The exhibition will commence in George Town city, Penang this Sunday until May 3 at Penang Town Hall from 10am to 6pm, prior to the opening in Kuala Lumpur from May 16 to May 31. --BERNAMA
