AirAsia Urges Guests To Book Flights Via Official Channels

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- AirAsia has urged its guests to book their flights via AirAsia’s official channels to avoid being scammed. In a statement Monday, the budget airline said the public may purchase their tickets via its official sales channels, namely www.airasia.com, AirAsia’s mobile app, authorised travel agents and AirAsia travel and service centres. “AirAsia shall not be held liable for any claims arising from false schemes and we will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or groups who organise illegal schemes using the AirAsia brand,” it said. It said should members of the public have any doubt or wish to report suspected scams involving AirAsia, they may get in touch with the airline via its official communication channels, namely Facebook, Twitter and AskAirAsia at www.airasia.com/ask. -- BERNAMA
