Andaman Travel Trade 2011 to kick off in Phuket on Nov. 25-26

PHUKET, November 19 (TNA) - Thailand's southern island city of Phuket will host its Andaman Travel Trade Fair 2011 during November 25-26. News of the trade fair was announced on Friday in Phuket city jointly between Phuket Governor Tree Akaradecha, and Deputy Governor for International Marketing at the Tourism Authority of Thailand Juthaporn Rerngronasa. The annual event, organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Phuket’s tourism sector since the year 2000, will be held to promote travelling in five Andaman provinces of Phuket, Pang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Ranong. At least 130 billion baht is expected to go into circulation during the event, to be attended by some five million visitors from around the world. (TNA)
