German Tour Operator Reports Major Rise In Iran Bookings

Berlin, Nov 3, IRNA -- A leading German tour operator said travel bookings for Iran have picked up significantly over the past months. The Munich-based Studiosus Reisen Travel Agency which is the largest tour operator of culture and nature special interest group tours in Germany, said Iran has once again become a top destination for German tourists in the Middle East. Demand for tours in Iran has witnessed a double-digit growth rate, Studiosus said in a statement. Studiosus is to offer at least two additional tours of Iran for 2014 besides the other planned tours of that country. Good prospects for a likely solution of the Iranian nuclear impasse have also been a factor that tourists are flocking to Iran again, according to Studious tour organizers. They also stressed that the new Iranian government has also placed a high priority on promoting tourism. Studiosus is in charge of the travel arrangements of over 100 tourists every year./end
