Malaysia Airports To Host Future Travel Experience Asia 2012

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) will be hosting the Future Travel Experience Asia 2012, a unique forum for the travel industry stakeholders. The forum, supported by the International Air Transport Association and Airports Council International Asia-Pacific, is slated to be held at the Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Feb 8 to 10. The airport operator said the forum would focus on the end-to-end travel process from the passengers' point of view, from booking to baggage collection at the arrival destination, and assess every aspect of passengers' experience on the ground for improvement. The conference is themed "advancing self-service initiatives to improve passenger experience". "Malaysia Airports is expected to host a gala dinner for conference participants and conduct an airport tour for the delegates (including a briefing on KLIA2). "We expect over 300 attendees and 25 leading solution providers to exhibit their products and services at the event," said MAHB managing director Bashir Ahmad. Bashir is expected to deliver his keynote address and join other leading industry speakers in proposing innovative ideas at the forum. -- BERNAMA Malaysia
