MAS Offers Special Menu For Christmas

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 22 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering a special Christmas menu on board its international flights in conjunction with the festive season. In a statement Thursday, MAS said the special menu would be served on Dec 25, 2011 to passengers on flights from Kuala Lumpur (KL) to Hong Kong and Cape Town and as well as on the Europe, Australia and New Zealand routes. "It will also be served on flights from the Europe, Australia and New Zealand coming into KL on Dec 24 and Dec 25. MAS said passengers flying from KL to destinations in Europe, South Africa, Hong Kong and the Asean region on Dec 25 would also receive fruit cakes as a season festive gift. "First and business class passengers will be offered roast turkey with Au Jus Natural, caramelised chestnut, new potato, asparagus and glazed-turned carrot in replacement of the regular main course. "A special Christmas pudding will be served as dessert," it said. It said as a replacement for the regular main course in the economy cabin, turkey roll with cranberry sauce, new potato, French bean and frozen baby carrot would be served. "A log cake will accompany the menu as dessert," it said. -- BERNAMA
