MONGOLIAN COMPANIES ATTENDING MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM EXHIBITION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian tour operators ‘Nomadic Journeys’, ‘Bat Tour’ are representing the country at the 25th Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition which is taking place on March 13-15 in Expo Center in Moscow. This time exhibition brought more than 2000 travel agencies from 190 countries. Manager for Bat Tour Company N.Bat-Erdene said number of tourists visit to Mongolia is increasing yearly. It is important to promote the country at the international biggest expos to raise the number. "This exhibition is considered as the biggest tourism exhibition not only in Russia but also in the world. There are plenty of opportunities to publicize our country and attract tourists. I see that Russians have much interest to travel to Mongolia, especially making Gobi tour, fishing and horseback trip. Moreover, Russian tour operates propose to cooperate," told E.Narangarav, Sales Manager for ‘Nomadic Journeys‘ Company. Tourists coming to Mongolia usually choose tour en route Ulaanbaatar-Umnugobi-Kharkhorin-Ulaanbaatar and the trip lasts for a week approximately. Furthermore, the travel agencies offer to travel through natural beautiful attractions including Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), Yolyn am (Valley of the Vultures), Khongor Sand dune, Bayan zag (Rich in saxual), Ongi Monastery, Kharkhorin, Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune and Khustai Nuruu National Park on their way. This kind of trip costs USD 1000-1200 for single person, said the representatives of tour operators.
