Sarawak Minister of Tourism, Art, Culture, Youth and Sports Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the campaign, with a tagline 'More to Discover' covered a wider spectrum and scalable expression of discoveries and experiential immersion in all Sarawak’s tourism products and services. “The campaign will also be a major feature in our international trade and consumer fairs in our focus markets in Europe, Australia, China and the region,” he said at the launch of the campaign by Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg here Monday night. Also launched was the campaign’s theme song titled ‘Sarawak, More to Discover’ by Sarawak-born singer Dayang Nurfaizah. Abdul Karim said the launching was also timely with the re-commencement of Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) direct flight between Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuching. At the same time, Air Asia is also launching the much awaited Sibu-Kota Kinabalu and Bintulu-Kota Kinabalu flights starting Tuesday, he said, adding that the a twice weekly Haikou -Kuching schedule charter flight was also scheduled for launch in the middle of this month. -- BERNAMA
