Thai transvestite flight attendants take to the air

BANGKOK, December 16 (TNA) - Thai transvestite flight attendants took to the air for the first time on Thursday for the newly established PC Air travelling from Bangkok to the country's southern resort Surat Thani Province. PC Air, a charter airline set to start operations on Asian routes in April 2012, originally planned only to employ male and female flight attendants but it changed its mind after receiving more than 100 job applications from transvestites and transsexuals. Four were chosen, along with 19 female and 7 male flight attendants. The new recruits have been training for several months for aviation security, in-flight services and make up lessons. The airline is initially set to fly to South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and China. (TNA)
