Women's Participation in Environmental Inspection Increases by 360%

Riyadh, August 21, 2023, SPA -- The National Center for Environmental Compliance reported a notable increase in women's participation in environmental inspection tours, a 360% increase over last year.
The number of inspection tours increased to 22,000; their aim is to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
The center also announced an increase in the number of men inspectors by about 10% compared to the same period from last year, which brings their total number to 263; women inspectors amount to 111.
The center highlighted the efficiency shown by women inspectors when it comes to environmental regulations and laws. It said that the high increase in the number of women inspectors complies with Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision, which focuses on empowering women.
